  • The pandemic is severe here; pray God will protect our children.

  • Landlord is selling the facility that Grace Center is now using. Pray God will provide a new place.

  • Pray that the water well we’re digging for Halfway House will be finished by May.

Zane and Nancy serve in a rainy, mountainous area.

Zane & Nancy

Personal & Family

  • Pray for Zane’s knees; that rheumatism be gone, God will heal him, take away the pain, and give him faith and strength.
  • The rainy season in this locality is very long, and Nancy’s digestion is uncomfortable during this long time. May the Lord heal her!
  • The evil spirits in this area are strong and the spiritual warfare is quite intense. May God give Nancy spiritual gifts, an abundant spiritual life, so that she can stand steady.

  • May the Lord provide coworkers for the kindergarten. Pray for us to know if we should keep the kindergarten open for the second half of this school year.
  • Pray for Zane to have wisdom in serving the fellowship of uremia patients. May God help the members of this group to be firm in faith; may He heal them, provide for them, and enable them to trust in Him. There are two who still haven’t decided to follow Jesus; pray they come to sincere faith in God.
  • Pray Nancy can learn the local language; may God give her wisdom and knowledge to know how to share the Good News.

  • Pray that this year we can experience more of God’s Word, His faithfulness, and His provision for our needs.

  • Pray for us to have a good time sharing with Johnny. Pray the Lord will lead us and be with us.
  • Pray God blesses our restaurant — its income and its workers — in April (Ramadan, the Muslim month of fasting). May the Lord give us strength and a better understanding of His will.
  • Pray the Lord show Lucy if she should teach Sunday school for the Chinese overseas businessman’s fellowship. May God Himself lead her and confirm her choice.

Peter & Sally

Personal & Family

  • Pray God continues leading us in our work and gives Peter wisdom to plan his time and work well.
  • Pray for us for wisdom to be good parents, to be able to lead our two kids to grow in the Lord.
  • Sally’s mother has a heart condition and diabetes which have caused swelling and pain in her hands and feet. May the Lord take away her pain and give her joy and peace.

Ministry: Nexus Center

  • Pray for new teachers in the Center to know the Lord. Pray for education department ministry, young people’s discipleship training, and God’s blessing on the brothers and sisters in the church.
  • The worship team has started studying in music school; pray for progress in leading worship.
  • May the Lord help Nexus Center team members, who are of different nationalities,  to work together in unity, to be salt and light, to glorify the Lord’s Name!

Mother’s Day Blessing at The House of Hope

Samson & Ava

Personal & Family

  • Ava is now studying psychology and counseling. May the Lord give her more wisdom in counseling the women.
  • Pray for Ava’s stomach pain to be healed.
  • Pray for the safety of our family. Pray for our two daughters to do well in their studies.

Ministry: The House of Hope

  • We’ve planned a restaurant luncheon with 75 mothers at the beginning of April to celebrate Mother’s Day, and a program and performance by students at The House of Hope on a different day. Pray God will use these two days’ events to help these mothers receive the Good News.
  • House of Hope coworkers are celebrating Teacher’s Day by having some activities. Pray our team will be more unified and love one another more.
  • Due to the difficult economic conditions in Olive City, most husbands have a lot of pressure for daily living, and most wives and the mothers of the House of Hope children have lots of emotional problems. So the House of Hope team is planning for a program to encourage them with God’s Word. We plan to do more visiting in the community to encourage the women. Pray the Holy Spirit powerfully use the team to minister to these women.

Brother Tai and Sister Ling

Personal & Family

  • Thank God that the pandemic restrictions in Brother Tai’s place have finally loosened a bit, and we can go visit the church’s brothers and sisters.
  • Also thank God our 13-year-old son has matured a lot, and he is doing well in reference to his character and ability to get along with people.
  • Concerned gov’t departments came again looking for Brother Tai; may the Lord keep him safe!

  • Lychee City: The pandemic is still severe, and constantly there are more confirmed cases, so they can’t go across the border; pray God supply the people there with the food and other things they need.
  • Banana City: Supplies can now be taken across the border. Recently Brother Tai received 40 kg of wild honey which the brothers and sisters there hope he can sell so they can buy medicine.
  • Banana City: Brother Tai knows nine families who live deep in the mountains; and recently in that group, three healthy babies were born — two boys and one girl. Thank God!!
