Dear friends, In Hong Kong in the 60’s, young Johnny lined up at church to receive gifts of milk powder, rice, and biscuits at Christmas and Easter. Those happy childhood memories helped form my image of what ‘churches’ and ‘Christians’ were. Maybe I was too small to consider why the church gave away food or gifts.
