Pray God gives us the strength to follow Him closely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for our health and our safety, that we&#8217;ll have wonderful opportunities to pray together with our (spiritual) family members, wherever we may be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for Lucy&#8217;s father, for his health and his greater spiritual hunger. And pray for her younger brother&#8217;s and sister&#8217;s work &#8212; because of the pandemic they don&#8217;t have much work, and they are still under quarantine and lockdown.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The coffee shop is being expanded. May God give me wisdom to manage it and to purchase needed materials. Pray for good communication with the workers and that God provides all the needs of the shop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May God protect the workers&#8217; health &#8212; may Jesus&#8217; precious blood cover them!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for our set-up of a system to manage and train workers &#8212; a new manager, a chef, a barista. May the Lord raise up for us a new generation of leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for our continuing visitation in the community and our weekly women&#8217;s small group, for Lucy to receive what is needed from the Lord so she can lead better. Pray for our local coworkers to be more active in setting up small groups and passing on the Good News! Pray for the small son of the female boss of a tailor shop, who is 9 years old but still doesn&#8217;t open his mouth or talk normally, even to his parents. Pray the Lord shows our team how to walk with and minister to this family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jeremy &amp; Iris<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal and Family<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pray for my wife Iris&#8217;s work, that God will give her more strength. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Pray for my theological studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Pray for the safety of our children as well as their studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pray I can bring more people to Water City on a mission trip during the winter break. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Norman &amp; Linda<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal and Family<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thank God that although all of us got infected last month, we have all recovered now.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are thankful! This time returning to Water City we ran into all kinds of difficulties, large and small, but finally we were able to overcome all the difficulties. This experience has given us great faith that although things may be impossible from a human perspective, all things are possible with God!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please pray for my (Norman&#8217;s) mom, who had mumps. She was in the hospital a few days and is now out, still getting better. Please pray for her complete recovery and for my dad&#8217;s inflamed prostate to be healed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pray for visas for our whole family. Right now we&#8217;re in the process of applying for work permits, so pray they are approved smoothly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for our next steps, that we will receive new leading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We&#8217;re trying out a new business, to import some things from China. May the Lord bless the family Vera is staying with while she&#8217;s in Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for the education department, that God gives wisdom and strength to the teachers to teach the children even better, and that the students feel God&#8217;s love at the Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for church members to draw nearer to God and to receive the Holy Spirit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for the teenagers, women&#8217;s, and men&#8217;s ministries to be able to bless more people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Levant &#8211; Olive City<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/HOH2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12073\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">House of Hope Students<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Samson &amp; Ava<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal and Family<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recently Samson has had high blood pressure and headaches. He intends to go have a check up at the hospital. May God give wisdom to the doctors and suitable medical treatment for Samson. May the Lord grant His wisdom and protect us!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for my pericarditis and liver problems &#8212; May God heal me, give me good health!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many coworkers have caught COVID. May God heal them and make them firm in faith!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May God prepare and send more young coworkers out to serve, people with a love for souls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lychee City &#8212; the offering has already been sent, but not the goods yet. May God protect the goods so they can be delivered without hindrance to the people who need them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banana City &#8212; the pandemic broke out suddenly and there has been a lockdown, so for the time being goods can&#8217;t be delivered. May the Lord give them wisdom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There&#8217;s a 12-year-old girl student who doesn&#8217;t want to keep studying this semester. May the Lord give us wisdom to deal with her situation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have two young people who just graduated from discipleship training class.
