When war becomes the backdrop, Christ is still the protagonist! Life goes on, and His grace continues to be poured out.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In recent conversations with Nexus Ministry&#8217;s missionaries in Iran, we learned that life there is gradually returning to normal.<\/strong> <strong>People are going back to daily routines of work, school, and visiting relatives. Although rising prices and economic pressures persist, the most stressful period seems to have passed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u751f\u6d3b\u9010\u6f38\u6062\u5fa9\u6b63\u5e38\uff0c\u4eba\u5011\u91cd\u65b0\u56de\u5230\u65e5\u5e38\u7bc0\u594f\u3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17493\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Life is gradually returning to normal, and people are getting back to their daily routines.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Today, the Middle East still faces many challenges, but God&#8217;s work has never ceased. We also shared Christ&#8217;s love by providing lunch and care ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u6751\u6c11\u5b69\u5b50\u805a\u96c6\uff0c\u4e00\u540c\u8046\u807d\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\u3002.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17508\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Village children gather together to listen to God&#8217;s Word..<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\"><strong>Children and Discipleship:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In cooperation with the local church, we are continuing to organize summer Bible schools. About one hundred children participate each day. They are getting to know the Lord Jesus through worship songs, games, and Bible teaching.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u5b69\u5b50\u5011\u5728\u6b61\u7b11\u8207\u904a\u6232\u4e2d\u5b78\u7fd2\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\u3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17511\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Children learn God&#8217;s Word through laughter-filled games.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In addition, the church&#8217;s Bible college started classes in August with nine students participating. Five of them have now completed the full course. We hope to cultivate more workers who love the Lord and are willing to serve.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u88dd\u5099\u65b0\u4e00\u4ee3\u5de5\u4eba\uff0c\u9810\u5099\u672a\u4f86\u7684\u670d\u4e8b\u3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17514\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Equipping a new generation of workers for future service.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6\"><strong>God Opens a Door of Service<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recently, James was invited to a local church to share a message on the topic of &#8220;Church.&#8221; Afterwards, many brothers and sisters said they were deeply encouraged.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u96c5\u5404\u5206\u4eab\u795e\u7684\u8a71\u8a9e\uff0c\u5efa\u7acb\u4fe1\u5f92\u751f\u547d\u3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17517\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Jacob built up the spiritual lives of believers as he shared the Word of God.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-white-color has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-7\"><strong>Middle East Ministry Update:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8\"><strong>The House of Hope, Syria \u2013 Hope Amidst Turmoil<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In July, The House of Hope conducted a summer camp and activities focused on the topic &#8220;Thanksgiving.&#8221; The children learned about gratitude and how to experience God&#8217;s presence and love in difficult circumstances.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rawan, who used to live in fear due to domestic violence, has gradually found healing through long-term care and the prayers of her teachers. Her life is now a testimony of God&#8217;s grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"863\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u5728\u56f0\u96e3\u74b0\u5883\u4e2d\uff0c\u6559\u6703\u4ecd\u80fd\u64c1\u62b1\u76fc\u671b\u8207\u6b61\u7b11.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17520\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Even in difficult circumstances, the church can still embrace hope and joy.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A recent explosion occurred in the Jaramanah neighborhood of Damascus. But ministry continues, and the House of Hope remains a safe haven for the children.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.&#8221; (Psalm 147:3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-white-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-9\"><strong>Nexus Center, Lebanon &nbsp;&#8211; Dignity from a School Bag<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A young Kurdish girl, newly enrolled in school, was teased on the first day by her classmates for carrying her textbooks in plastic bags because she didn&#8217;t have a schoolbag.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The next day, her teacher gave her a pink schoolbag. Moved, she said,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-luminous-vivid-amber-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-10\"><strong>&#8220;They didn&#8217;t just give me a schoolbag; they gave me dignity.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nexusmission.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u4e00\u500b\u66f8\u5305\uff0c\u5e36\u4f86\u88ab\u611b\u8207\u88ab\u5c0a\u91cd\u7684\u611f\u53d7\u3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17523\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>A schoolbag brings feelings of being loved and respected.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>She said even more happily, &#8220;I fell in love with my school at first sight.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-11\"><strong>Special Prayer Request: Vera&#8217;s Medical Journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please continue to pray for Vera. For many years, she has faithfully served children and families in Lebanon and the Middle East, but has long suffered from physical pain and mobility limitations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thanks to God&#8217;s provision, Vera is currently on her third medical rehabilitation journey in Namibia and South Africa.
