In God, there is a time for everything, a reason for every delay of a promise. In 2 Peter 3:9, ‘The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise … He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.’ Our relationship with our Lord is one not built on ‘the present’ but ‘eternity’. Dear brothers and sisters, if God delays, we wait! ‘Everyone to come to repentance’ is what we should be looking for.

Joining with the local workers, the co-workers from Nexus visited a refugee camp. They shared testimonies and cried shedding tears with a middle-aged couple who have no children. God’s grace is more than we can ask for. He understands the pain in our hearts. (However his promise isn’t always fulfilled according to our timetable.)

Tutorial class in the slum
There are 40 children in the class. We hold classes to conduct education and biblical knowledge
for them. Please remember them in your prayers so that they can be touched by His love.

City Youth ministry:

There are a total of 50 young people, divided into 2 groups. As a foreigner whose identity is considered sensitive, I can only do the support work, help with the training of core members of the ministry and assist the local co-workers in the operation. At this moment, most of these young people are coming to a stage of decision making. However they are still bothered by the questions below.

1. Jesus and Mohammad, who is the last prophet?
2. What is the Holy Trinity?
3. The Bible and the Koran, which is the word of God?

We ask God’s Spirit to work in their hearts so that they understand who the true God is.

Ledon (from the village) and his wife:

The place where our mother-in-law lives in is a Hindu community consisting of 15 families. Now 12 of them have been saved. As a result they destroyed all the pictures of false gods. A fellowship was established and we need to give them pastoral care as well as training. We ask for God’s blessing on His work.

Narish is a young Hindu. He had a question, ‘There are 800,000 gods in Hinduism, and until the day I die, I can’t finish worshiping all of them. But if I’m unable to please them, how do I obtain their protection and go to heaven?’ Our local co-worker preached the good news to him and he received it, saying he finally got the answer. After that he fervently shared the gospel with his family, but both he and his wife ended up being expelled from the family, while his wife was 7 months pregnant. We ask our Father to protect them, to give them more faith, and save their family so that the relationship will be restored one day.

Prayer requests:

1/ For the relationship between Father and our family. Keep us safe and surrounded by righteous people. Give us a healthy mind and body.

2/ Bless our families in the Mainland. Free them from worries and remember their sacrifice for us.

3/ For the local core co-workers. Whatever they do and face, Father will bless them with a heart of perseverance and a love for God.
