Personal and Family:

• Especially pray for the safety of their family. They learned on April 7 that someone died of COVID-19 in a building near their place, and the police have already locked down their district. May the Lord protect them!

People:

• Pray for Water City: it’s so densely populated that if the coronavirus breaks out it will infect and kill a lot of people because their medical system is outdated and the amount of equipment limited. Especially in the slums they have absolutely no protective measures in place, and even getting enough food is a big problem for people there

Jeremy and Iris

Personal and Family:

• Please pray for Jeremy’s wife and children in Korea, especially for their daughter, who has been a bit emotionally unstable recently. May the Lord increase Iris’s ability to take care of the two children.

People:

• Now (April) Water City is locked down and Jeremy can’t go out; all he can do for the present is pray. But for slum dwellers, just surviving under the lockdown is a very big problem: they live from hand to mouth, and even one day without work is a huge challenge for them, so please pray for the people who live in the slums! Jeremy is in touch with some people from local churches to see what they can to do to help these poor people.

• Pray for the pandemic situation. The lockdown is keeping refugees and common laborers even from being able to get food.

• Thank God their family can be together and get some needed rest during this time.
• Pray for their daughter as she learns Arabic and other things.
• Pray for spiritual growth in their two children.
• Pray for them to develop a lifestyle of family worship.

Ministry:

• May God help their teenage coworkers to keep growing spiritually.
• Pray God keep team members from getting infected while doing food and goods distribution in different places during this pandemic.
• Pray that masks and other goods being shipped to them arrive smoothly and that the goods can be distributed to the ones who need them the most, so the Lord’s Name is glorified.

• Pray for healing from the infirmities among the families of Antioch church members that they will look to the Lord in faith.
• Pray the Lord take care of our coworkers’ family members and protect them from Satan’s attacks.

Ben & Emma

Personal and Family:

• May the Lord protect and make pliable Ben’s father’s heart; pray he can build his foundation on truth, desire the Lord, and change!
• May the Lord help Emma’s younger brother in his walk with the Lord; pray he won’t be discouraged or compromise with the world, and especially pray that he can trust the Lord in his marriage situation.
• Pray for Ben and Emma, that in every situation, they can support each other and display both to this generation and to their small daughter an example of a healthy marriage.

People:

• On April 6, our coworker Vicky’s elder sister began having severe heart pain. She had to go to the hospital into ICU the next morning. Please, pray for her healing!
• Please continue to pray for the pandemic situation in Tree City. On April 6 there were 14 new cases and one person died; there had been 541 cases to date, 60 recoveries, and 19 deaths.
• Please pray for their team members and church members to be kept safe.
• Pray for our two coworkers from the U.S.: Pray for their family members, friends and church members in U.S. that may they not get infected but be kept in His peace!

• Pray for the U.S. that God give them wisdom to know what to do.
• Pray for wisdom for Enoch to pass tests to get his driver’s license.

• Pray for several first-grade children who come to study every morning.
• Pray for a very backward, poor city where they serve. It has cases of the virus.

Banana City, Lychee City, South Asia

Brother Tai & Xiao Ling

Personal and Family:

• Pray the Lord will give His strength to Brother Tai, who is often away traveling and sometimes feels very tired and weak.
• Pray for Xiao Ling, who will give birth to their third child this June. Recently she hasn’t been sleeping well, and her husband is not at home.

Ministry:

• Pray The Lord bring more workers to join them because recently, some have left to get jobs.

People:

• Since Chinese New Year, some church members have begun getting sick with different illnesses such as cancer, high blood pressure, etc. may the Lord heal them!
