South Asia – Water City

Lewis & Lucy

Personal & Family

• Pray our family can have a good relationship with the Lord and can keep a stable devotional time together. Pray the Lord gives Lewis the guidance and strength he needs. Pray for our health and safety.
• Pray that this year we will experience God’s word and His faithfulness to a greater degree, and that He will provide what we need.
• Pray for Lucy’s father’s health and that he will hunger for God more deeply. May God protect him, care for him, have mercy on him, and heal him.

Ministry

• May the Lord give Lewis wisdom to manage the coffee shop and to communicate effectively with the workers; and may He provide all the shop’s needs.
• Pray for the health of the workers and for them to have hearts hungry for God’s Word.
• Pray for our continuing visits in the community and our weekly women’s small group. May the Lord help and lead Lucy, and may He provide what the families of our local coworkers need.

Jeremy & Iris

Personal & Family

• Pray Iris can find new work.
• Pray for Jeremy’s studies.
• Pray for the health of all our family members.

Ministry

• We thank God that during Jeremy’s July trip to Water City, he was able to visit many people and see the miraculous work God is doing there. Pray that on his next visit he can take with him more people who will come to know and care about what is going on locally in Water City.

Levant – Tree City

• Pray for our two kids’ learning of Chinese language. Pray our three-year-old son can get into a good Chinese class.
• Pray the Lord protects and takes care of Sally’s parents back in her hometown.
• Pray for us to have God’s wisdom to manage both family and ministry.

Ministry – Nexus Center

• Pray for wisdom for our education department to manage children, so they grow and develop in the Lord.
• Pray for the development of the women’s, the men’s, and the young people’s ministries.
• Pray for the visitation team to have heavenly wisdom as they go visit new families.
• Pray for the coworkers, brothers, and sisters who are sick.

Levant – Olive City

• Pray for Ava’s younger brother to be able to return in peace and without difficulty to Olive City this summer from his time overseas.
• Pray God will draw us closer to Himself, and pray we have wisdom and strength to continue leading our team.

Ministry – The House of Hope

• Pray that in the different activities of the House of Hope, the children will understand God’s Word and that it will bear fruit in their lives.
• Pray for our team’s teachers to have power from on High to continue serving in the House of Hope.
• Pray the women’s ministry can help more women to receive God’s comfort in their hearts and for spiritual growth in the lives of those in the young people’s ministry.

South Asia – Friendship Country

• Now rents are going up and up, and also the police and the government come frequently to check on us. Pray that our family can buy a small apartment here.
• Pray that our youngest son’s future marriage will become a blessing for this place; and pray that the Lord blesses and leads our co-worker Usman in his life and service..
• Pray that our family can serve the Lord with more zeal.

Ministry

• Pray for our students in Q City (among whom are refugees from Apricot City).
• Pray for us to have a smooth entrance to ministry in the Middle East.

Southeast Asia – Banana City, Lychee City

Brother Tai & Sister Ling

Personal & Family

• Brother Tai went to his hometown with this whole family for the summer. Pray God will heal their third child, who has contracted pneumonia.
• Brother Tai and his family are staying with his mother at this time. Pray the Lord gives them a peaceful, spiritually rich, wonderful time together.
• Recently certain government departments have come checking on Brother Tai and Sister Ling many times, wanting to talk with them. Pray the Lord keeps them safe and gives them wisdom.

Ministry

• During this time while Brother Tai is away from those he usually ministers to, pray they will continue to be built up, strong in the Lord.
• Lychee City: Pray the Lord provide for the 76 orphans and five teachers in the orphanage. The continuing civil war there means hostilities can break out at any time, But people have nowhere to flee to. May the Lord have mercy on the people of Lychee City and stop this war!
• Banana City: Thank God, Brother Tai was able to sell all the honey they collected, buy medicine and other goods, and send them to the brothers and sisters in Banana City. Now the rainy season is here, and many areas have had flooding. May the Lord keep the brothers and sisters in the mountains safe and strengthen their faith!

Southeast Asia – Coconut City

Thai Sister Chaw Chaw & Hong Kong Sister Winnie

Personal & Family

• Winnie’s younger brother has three more chemo treatments. Pray for God guidance so that he gets suitable treatment and gets better soon.
• Due to Winnie’s concern for her brother’s condition, she has developed high blood pressure. It’s to the point that she has to take blood pressure medicine. May the Lord give her a peaceful heart!
• Chaw Chaw is now caring for a number of sick people; may the Lord give her strength!

Ministry

• May the Lord provide funds so Grace Center can buy land (for their own place).
• The children in Grace Center are very headstrong. May God change their hearts and give them hearts that want to learn.
• The pandemic situation in Coconut City is severe. May the Lord protect the health of each one in the Center.

Southeast Asia – Chili City

Zane & Nancy

Personal & Family

• The rheumatism pain Zane has been having in his knees has lessened somewhat. Pray God continues to heal him and takes away all the pain, gives him faith and strength.
• Local idol worship is strong, and so is the degree of spiritual attack they constantly experience. Pray God gives Nancy a loving heart, grace, authority, and faith to serve faithfully.
• Pray for Zane’s younger brother. He was injured at work recently and two tendons in his hand were cut. Pray God heal him and protect him.
• Nancy has decided to go back and visit where she grew up and served before. May God bless her journey, go with her, and bless the people she encounters.

Ministry

• Pray the Lord prepares teachers for the kindergarten.
• Pray for our preparation of a foundational study course for the uremia patients’ fellowship so they can truly understand God’s word. Two of them are not yet believers — pray these two come to true faith in Jesus Christ.
• A cult group has started up in the main town in our county and has deceived many brothers and sisters. Pray God covers them, protects them, and gives them wakeful, discerning hearts.
