Personal and Family

• Recently, Winnie’s brother has felt tired all the time — his whole body — and has no appetite. Now he’s been admitted to the hospital for tests and observation. Pray he’ll get suitable treatment and be healed
• Chaw Chaw’s elder sister in Lychee City has been diagnosed with uterine cancer and has to get chemo treatment. Pray for her healing.
• Chaw Chaw’s son suddenly had something happen so he can’t come see his mom over Christmas. May God give him wisdom to deal with this situation.

Ministry

• Next April, the earnest money deposit’s time period for the land that we intend to buy in northern Thailand will expire. May God provide the funds for this land!
• Two fourteen/fifteen-year-old children have returned to our Center and need to study in Chinese. May the Lord provide what is needed for them!
• Lychee City schools are closed, and we know of ten families who are sending their children to Coconut City for schooling. We’re still talking about whether we can take in this group of children. May God have mercy on them!

• May God heal the pain from the rheumatism in my knees, my heart pain, and my wife Nancy’s breast pain.
• My second younger sister drank pesticide to try to commit suicide and was rescued, but she is weak. Please pray God heals her spirit, soul, and body!

Ministry

• Pray for our Christmas program. May the Lord provide the place and the funds to do it.
• May God heal the brothers and sisters in the fellowship of those with kidney disease and give them clarity in their spirits to rely on God, and also give us wisdom to know how to serve them.
• We have some difference in theology with one sister. May the Lord lead us and give us revelation regarding our relationship with her
• Pray for my people (the Wa); may the Lord destroy the idols and the curses and change the hearts of the local people.

Africa – Mineral City

• Pray for the health of both of us, husband and wife.
• Pray for our parents back in China, that God will protect them and daily keep them in peace, health, and joy.

• Pray that the remodeling of our church facility will go well and be completed by Christmas.
• Pray that this year our local brothers and sisters will become more mature in the Lord, that they will experience the result of their faith regarding finances.

• Pray for our whole family to have good relationships with God and that our family devotional time will be stable. Pray God gives us the strength to “run with Him” at a fast pace.
• Pray for our health and safety.
• Pray for Lucy’s father, for his health and for him to have a deeper hunger for the Lord. May the Lord bless the work of younger brothers and younger sisters.

Ministry

• We are expanding the coffee shop; may the Lord give us wisdom to manage it and the means to purchase what is needed. Pray that I can communicate effectively with our workers, and may the Lord provide all the needs of the shop.
• May God protect the health of our workers — the precious blood of Jesus cover them! Pray for us to be able to set up an ‘inner circle’ — to train a new managing director, chef, and barista. May the Lord raise up a generation of new leaders for us!
• Pray for us as we continue our visits in the community and our weekly women’s meeting. Pray that Lucy receives from God and has His wisdom to improve her leadership skills. Pray local coworkers will be more zealous in setting up small groups to share the Good News with others!
• Pray for the small son of a lady who is a sewing shop boss. He is nine but doesn’t open his mouth to talk and can’t communicate normally with his parents. Pray God shows our team how we can work with and help this family.

• Pray for Iris in her job, that God will give her strength.

• I’ll be leading a mission team to Water City during the winter break. Pray I can bring more people with me (to expose them to missions and needs).

• Pray for our family’s health. Water City now has new covid cases every day, and adding to that the effects of Dengue fever, the situation is very serious.
• We’ve decided to move house in January and right now are still looking for a place. May God provide a suitable house for us.

• Pray for clarity for us, to know exactly what kind of business the Lord will lead us into.

• Pray the Lord protects our students through this very cold weather season.
• Pray the Good News presented through our Christmas activities will move many people’s hearts.
• Our home visitation team is in the process of visiting many homes. Pray for them to have wisdom as they share the Good News.
• We thank God that our young people’s ministry is making good progress, and there are more than 60 young people who are hungry for God. Pray they will experience revival and be used by the Lord..

Southeast Asia– Banana City, Lychee City

• Concerned government departments are still “looking after me” very carefully — my ability to go anywhere is restricted and I can’t leave this area. May God open the way for me, keep my family healthy and safe, and make us strong in heart to obey His leading to be light and salt in our society.
• Please pray for me, for healing from pericarditis, liver, hip, and other problems.

Ministry

• Lychee City: both the civil war and the pandemic are severe now. May God have mercy and comfort the people’s hearts and take away their fears. Many orphans and others have fled for refuge to the orphanage, but goods are very hard to transport to the mountains there. The weather has turned cold, and people’s lives there have no guarantee. Many coworkers have been infected with covid and have lasting symptoms. May God heal them, protect them, strengthen them in their spiritual lives, and provide for their daily living.
• Banana City: The goods (that we shipped) have been delivered, and brothers and sisters in the mountains can continue living normally now. In January the customs port may open. May God open the way for me to go there!
