Introduction: I am an American missionary. Previously I was in China teaching English to high school students, working with a disabled family, and encouraging university students in their faith. When COVID hit, after 10 months of not being able to return to China from Hong Kong, I had no choice but to go back to the US. Then after three and half years there, God called me to Coconut City. I arrived on August 22 this year. Currently I am helping in Grace Center.

Personal & Family

• Pray for God to give me clear direction for how to get my long-term visa.
• Pray I can acclimate to the weather and the spicy food here.
• Pray for God’s grace for my family and friends.

Ministry: Grace Center

• May God show me the best way to learn the local languages so I can communicate well with those I serve here.
• May God show me where and how He wants me to serve here.

Thai Sister ChawChaw and Hong Kong Sister Winnie

Personal & Family

• Pray for my (Winnie’s) and Chawchaw’s unbelieving family members. May the Holy Spirit move their hearts to receive the gospel!
• May God protect ChawChaw. When she faces difficulty, may God protect her, cover her with His righteousness, and give her a peaceful heart.
• Pray for Chawchaw’s injured leg to be healed as soon as possible.

Ministry: Grace Center

• Some of Grace Center’s children are attending school in a village far from the Center; the village chief and his wife are caring for them. May God give this couple the love and strength to do this!
• May God prepare a suitable location for the mission team going in October to serve the Center’s children.
• We arranged activities for our children during their holidays. Pray they learn more of God’s Word.
• Flooding began in Coconut City in August. As of Sept 1st, floods in the north were severe, and all the furniture in Grace Center was submerged in the flooding. Pray the floods recede as soon as possible.

South Asia– Water City

Lewis & Lucy

Personal & Family

• Because Water City’s laws have changed and the visa policy has become more difficult, we need to make a major adjustment. In terms of funds, they require us to re-register, and the amount is huge. We are facing a choice.
• We want to leave Water City temporarily and wait for the right opportunity, then come in again. Our visas are valid until the beginning of next year.
• Pray for our family’s relationships with the Lord, as well as relationships between family members. Pray God gives our family members understanding hearts.
• Pray for the future of our family. We hope to be equipped studying theology in the coming two years. I also hope to have good communication with the school. May God prepare everything we need.
• Our coffee shop closed in early July. Pray that the equipment can be disposed of smoothly.

Ministry

• Pray for our co-workers who work in education in the countryside. May the Lord protect their service and provide them with sufficient support.
• Pray for the local co-workers who are working with women and children in the community — may God protect their service.

• May God give my wife more strength at work.
• Pray for the health and safety of our son and our daughter.
• Pray for my mother and sister’s family. May God work in their hearts to believe the Good News soon.

• Pray for our two children and Linda. Lately they’ve not been feeling very well; may God heal them.
• Pray for us successfully to complete all departure procedures.

Ministry

• Pray for Water City. Due to the political turmoil which has just subsided, a provisional government is currently in charge. Many areas have experienced flooding, with more than one million people affected. Pray God raises up leaders after His heart to govern this country.

• Pray for our family’s health. Both of our children are sick with fever. May God heal them.
• Pray for our eldest daughter, that not only will God heal her completely but also make her gallstones disappear.
• It is the rainy season in Water City, the peak season for dengue fever. Pray that God will protect us from being bitten by mosquitoes carrying the virus.

Ministry

• Discipleship in Water City is about fighting a spiritual battle to help young people overcome their struggles and temptations. (Recently we had a young employee who fell into a relationship and couldn’t extricate himself.) Pray for our discipleship work. May God give us love, patience, and wisdom!
• Pray for our 10 adopted children; may God keep them growing up healthy!

Africa– Mineral City

• For Mid-Autumn Festival, we have a meeting planned with performances and food. Pray for new friends to accept the gospel.
• Pray for the brothers and sisters who are in charge of the Mid-Autumn Festival program, and may God’s peace and joy be among them!

Levant– Tree City

Ministry: Tree City Nexus Center

• Youth Ministry: Pray that young people who are beginning to attend our Sunday Service will experience God. The Center provides English, computer, psychology, and Bible courses to the youth and prays that those we educate will glorify God with their lives.
• Ministry of Education: Pray for a smooth winter admission registration process.
• Church: Pray that the worship team’s service will be led by the Holy Spirit.
• Pray for the safety of Tree City, that conflicts between countries will cease and people’s basic needs will be provided.

Levant– Olive City

• I (Ava) am very grateful for the week I spent in Tree City in mid-August to relieve my fatigue. My mind was refreshed, my body was rested, and I had many meaningful experiences during this period.
• Pray I will continue to rely on God with renewed strength, heart, and knowledge of God’s Word to serve the Kingdom of God and that I will be a witness of God’s power wherever I go.
• Pray that my family will have God’s protection for body and spirit.
• The new semester has begun. Pray that our two daughters have a fruitful and happy time learning.

• Ministry of Education: Pray that the center’s students and their families will experience God’s love. Pray that God will use the Ministry of Education to accomplish His will.
• Family Ministries: Pray for the team to have wisdom and Holy Spirit’s guidance in planning ministries to invite families, share the gospel, provide spiritual help, etc.
• Upcoming team building activities: Pray that the activities will promote team friendship and unity and enhance the ministry and progress of the center.

Southeast Asia– Banana City, Lychee City

Brother Tai and Sister Ling

• National Day is coming soon, and the relevant departments are supervising us strictly. I (Brother Tai) cannot visit Banana City and Lychee City for the time being. Some time ago, two co-workers came to my hometown from out of town, and some leaders gathered. A total of more than 40 people were arrested and imprisoned for 15 days. May God keep us safe, give us wisdom, and strengthen everyone’s faith.

Ministry: Lychee City

• Wars continue. Now is the rainy season. Refugee camps and orphanages are in urgent need of medicines, food, and daily necessities. The houses are leaking and the people have no good cover. May God end the war, heal those who need healing, provide the people with all they need, strengthen the faith of the brothers and sisters, and give them grace to go through these difficult days.

Ministry: Banana City

• Pray that God will give the brothers and sisters on the mountain wisdom, motivation, and courage to preach the Good News and to be firm in the Truth.

Southeast Asia– Chili City

South Asia– Friendship Country / Middle East– Ruby City

• Recently we went to Q City in Friendship Country, to visit the college students we trained, to communicate with them and encourage them. Thank God, we have joe returned to Ruby City safely.
• Pray that God will use our oldest son’s family to be a blessing to the Middle East.

• Pray for us to provide good reception services in the local area. Pray that the Jewish families and students we contact will receive the gospel.

• May God bless the Q City college students we trained to serve in Q City.
• Pray that in the villages we visit, people’s hearts will be attracted by God’s Word to receive the Good News.
