Iran (Giles and Joan family)

Family

1) May we be blessed with His peace coming and going, with good health, and with protection from all disturbances. May the Lord keep our family safe and secure in this environment.

2) May our family be united in love toward one another. May our communication be smooth so that even under pressure we remain a blessing to our friends.

3) Pray we will be blessed financially and always have wisdom so that we have enough for our visas, residence, and daily life.

Ministry

1) Pray we have wisdom and love as we share our faith with friends; may the Good News touch people’s hearts.

2) Pray for our team members to be united, that they will not feel separated, lonely, or weary. May they always be renewed by the power of the Lord!

3) May the Lord provide for our younger son’s marriage and give him a companion with whom he can walk together and share the burden.

Thailand – Grace Center (Sister Sasha)

1) For my grandson as he starts his first year of high school and adapts to boarding life: may the Lord keep him safe and grant him intelligence and wisdom.

2) May my new co-worker Soma and I work together in unity, joy, and love as we interact with the children.

3) May the Lord bless us with good health and peace; and may we always have grateful hearts.

Ministry

1) For Grace Center’s children to receive God’s grace and love as they start the new school year. In their studies and their entire lives, may they experience more of God’s love!

2) May the Lord protect us during the rainy season, reduce flooding, and grant us stability. And may He keep the people living in the North safe!

3) May the Lord keep the children safe every day on their way to and from school, especially while being picked up and dropped off. During the rainy season, roads are slippery; may the Lord watch over the children and keep them safe on their journeys!

Syria – The House of Hope (Samson and Leah)

Family

1) During the summer, we get more Bible and discipleship teaching. May our spiritual lives continue to grow!

2) Pray that ministry team leaders have wisdom and discernment, and may our co-workers be protected and at peace.

3) Pray for the families affected by an explosion that occurred near our daughter’s school. Ask God to grant parents peace that overcomes all fear and healing for their families.

Ministry

1) Pray that new teachers at the House of Hope grow in their faith, and pray each one becomes a blessing to the team as he or she encounters the Lord.

2) Pray the teachers will serve their students with creativity and joy; and may their unity display God’s love!

3) Pray for the students’ summer camp Bible training, that they may experience healing, hope, and blessings that impact their families and communities.

4) For youth leaders to gain wisdom, humility, and maturity; and may their faith in the Lord be strong.

5) For our visitation ministry to help people open their hearts so that lives may be changed by the Gospel.

Lebanon – Nexus Center

Family

1) During the transition period while teachers are moving, may the Lord bless them, keep them safe, and provide for them.

2) May God heal Vera’s foot problem and lumbar pain; may God provide for her abundantly!

Ministry

1) May God bless the youth in their final exams and grant them good results. May they become witnesses for Christ!

2) May God grant healing and comfort to a member of the Antioch Church who is battling a stomach ailment. Pray for clear medical exam results.

3) Pray for God’s blessing on the exams and summer studies of Nexus Center’s students. Pray that upcoming parent-teacher meetings go well.

4) Pray that students and parents experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. May they encounter Jesus!

Pakistan (Glen and Maya)

1) Pray for our daughter’s health and that of our whole family. May the Word of God be rooted deeply in us! May God bless us with wisdom to learn Urdu.

2) The family is in financial difficulty. May God open a new way for us!

1) May we serve the poor with love and compassion and always look to the Lord for His presence.

1) Pray for our whole family’s spiritual life to be renewed. May we love the Lord and give Him first place in our lives!

3) Pray our children do well in their exams and look to the Lord for guidance and service.

Myanmar Ministry

1) Pray for spiritual growth in orphanage co-workers. Pray we can witness more for the Lord!

2) Pray for our co-workers’ and children’s health. May God reduce the amount of illness going around.

3) Traffic runs more smoothly in the rainy season. May the Lord ensure smooth delivery of food and supplies to the orphanage.

Laos

Laos Ministry

1) Pray for poor families in the mountains. May the Lord supply their needs and strengthen them.

2) May our co-workers serve faithfully even in times of difficulty and be united in heart.

Bangladesh (Alex and Ruth)

1) May the Lord’s provision and peace be upon every family member in the matters of our relationships, emotions, health, and safety.

2) May the Lord heal the lump on the neck of our youngest son!

1) May God provide finances for our children’s final exams. May He help them and bless their studies!

2) May the local church be strengthened in the midst of persecution. May the hearts of the believers be steadfast!

3) Families of kids in our slum school are being investigated. Pray that the Lord keeps them safe and secure and gives them peace of mind.

Pray that the Lord blesses our parents with good health; and even though we can’t be with them, may they have peace in His presence.

Pray for a spirit of unity in the brothers and sisters in the church. Pray they hunger for God’s Word and live out their faith.
