Since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war in 2011, Syria has faced prolonged conflict, economic hardship, and a humanitarian crisis. Millions have been displaced, and many families still lack access to adequate healthcare, education, and basic necessities. Despite ongoing international assistance, the needs of many refugees and vulnerable families remain unmet.

Since 2014, we have been serving Syrian refugees and vulnerable families in both Jordan and Syria through medical care, educational support, food distribution, and children’s ministries. Our outreach helps refugees, low-income families, widows, orphans, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) rebuild their lives and find renewed hope.

In Jordan, we partner with local churches and organizations to provide family assistance, children’s education, and community care. In Syria, we support local workers who deliver emergency relief, medical supplies, and essential aid to affected communities.

Nexus continues to support this ministry by working with local partners to bring assistance directly to those in need. Since 2018, Bridges Ministry has established the House of Hope in Damascus, Syria, while also serving internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Aleppo region near the Turkish border, providing practical help, love, and hope to those impacted by the crisis.
