Brother Tai and Sister Ling

Personal & Family

• We are thankful that Sister Ling and Brother Tai are able to be together again, and Brother Tai now can spend more time and energy doing visitation away from home.
• The people among whom Brother Tai is serving have been worshiping their idols more during the pandemic and so he feels very pressed in his spirit. May God give him strength!
• Certain government departments have recently come looking for Brother Tai again; may the Lord keep him safe!

Ministry

• Pray for the brothers and sisters in the church. Sometimes they are weak. Pray they will see the value of their relationship with the Lord!
• Lychee City –  Pray for the orphanage. They now treat covid as flu, and people infected with it just go recover on their own. We still have no way to visit there.
• Banana City – Recently Brother Tai received 40 kg of wild honey from there; pray he’ll be able to sell it.

Southeast Asia –  Coconut City

• Pray our family members can understand the ministry we are doing.
• Pray for us to be healthy so we can continue our ministry in the long term.
• We haven’t seen any of our family in Lychee City, Hong Kong, or Canada for two years; may the Lord open the way for us to see them!

Ministry

• Our landlord is now selling the property that the orphanage is on. May the Lord prepare a new place for us!
• May the Lord open the way for the 15 kids who have returned from Lychee City to be admitted by the school! The school is saying that if their age is too different from the usual age for their class, they won’t be admitted.

Southeast Asia – Chili City

Zane & Nancy

Personal & Family

• Pray for Zane’s knees; that rheumatism be gone, that God heal him, take away the pain, give him faith and strength.
• The evil spirits in this area are strong and the spiritual warfare quite intense. May the Lord give Nancy love, spiritual ability, and authority to serve loyally and with faith.
• Pray for Zane’s June inspection and repair of their vehicle to go smoothly.

Ministry

• May the Lord provide temporary workers for the kindergarten and also show Zane and Nancy if they should continue the kindergarten during the last half of this year.
• May the Lord give Zane wisdom to minister to the uremia patients’ fellowship group. May the Lord strengthen their faith, heal them, provide for them, and enable them to rely on Him. Two of them haven’t decided to follow Jesus yet; pray they come to true faith.
• There’s a brother in prison who has led more than 40 people to the Lord there. May the Lord give him strength and wisdom to serve these people, provide for all of his needs, strengthen his faith, and help him get out of prison soon. May the Lord prepare workers who are willing to do prison ministry.

South Asia – Water City

Lewis & Lucy

Personal & Family

• Pray the Lord keeps Lewis safe on the road as he takes his elder daughter to school and picks her up every day. May God give him strength for what he needs to do.
• Pray for our family’s health, safety, and sensitivity to the Lord. Pray this year we experience His Word and His faithfulness.
• Pray for us in our online times with our families back home, to maintain good relationships and have good prayer times together. Pray for Lewis’s father’s health and for him to love God more — may God protect and care for him, have mercy and heal him.  

Ministry

• May the Lord give Lewis wisdom to come up with a new menu and new prices, and pray he can have good communication with the workers, and may the Lord provide everything that the shop needs! Pray for our shop’s income and our workers.
• Pray our workers’ hearts will be hungry for the Lord.
• Pray for our weekly women’s small group meeting and for our continuing visitations in the community. May God help Lucy to understand God’s will better and to share His heart more effectively. May He supply the needs of our local coworkers’ families.

Jeremy & Iris

• Pray God provides a new job for Iris.
• Iris’s mother is scheduled for a gallstone operation; pray she has a speedy recovery.

Ministry

• Pray for Jeremy’s studies for his Master’s Degree in philosophy. The school facilities are excellent, the professors teach very well, and he is very grateful for this kind of opportunity.
• Pray for Jeremy to have a smooth trip visiting Water City. He plans to go for about 2 weeks during his July-August break.

Levant – Tree City

Personal & Family

• Pray for God to give us clear leading for our work and for Peter to have wisdom to arrange his schedule and his work.
• Pray for wisdom for us to be good parents, that we can lead our two children to grow in the Lord.
• Sally’s mother has heart problems and diabetes, causing swelling and pain in her hands and feet. Pray God show her her need for Jesus, heal her, and give her joy and peace.

Ministry: Nexus Center

• Pray for our education department, students, and teachers. Pray for our plans for the summer curriculum: we plan to have more activities (for example soccer, basketball, and music). Pray more young people will join our youth ministry for study.
• Right now the worship team is studying in a music school. Pray for their progress; and pray for their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
• Pray the brothers and sisters draw closer to God in their relationship with Him.

• Right now as we study the Bible, pray for us to grow in our understanding of God and to have His grace and mercy in our lives.
• Pray for our two daughters’ health and for their promising future.

Ministry: The House of Hope

• Pray for the students, women, and teenagers we minister to, that they are able to understand the Good News.
• The students have their midterm exams in May; pray for them to do well.
• The team is planning summer activities. Pray the activities will be effective, creative, and enjoyable for the children.
• Pray the team will continue to be strong and stable and minister with God’s love.

• Pray for change in the lives of the university students in Q City who have come to study with us.
• Pray God opens a wide door to the Middle East, so those who have the burden to go can go.
• The end of April there was a suicide bombing in this country. Please pray for our safety.
