2026 05 Nexus Prayer Letter
Myanmar & Laos (Tiger and Xiao Ling)
Family
1) Pray for the spiritual growth of our whole family — that we may serve in unity, and that the Lord will grant us good health and harmony in our home.
2) Pray for the health of our three elderly family members. May the Lord especially care for them in their old age and grant them peace and strength.
3) Pray for the studies and growth of our three children. May the Lord protect them from negative social influences (especially those coming from cell phones!) and guide them to walk in the right path.
Myanmar Ministry
1) We often face persecution, danger, and physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. Ask the Lord to protect our health and keep our co-workers united.
2) Pray for the spiritual lives and physical health of the children in the orphanage, and ask the Lord to stop the war and bring peace to this land.
3) Pray the Lord provides spiritual books for the orphanage to help the children grow in the Truth.
Laos Ministry
1) Pray the Lord gives the brothers and sisters in the mountain’s wisdom, motivation, and courage to share the Good News and remain firm in the Truth.
2) Pray for the tea and honey harvests this year, harvested by brothers and sisters here, that it will be enough to support their living expenses.
Bangladesh (Alex and Ruth)
Family
1) Pray for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our whole family. May the Lord cover and protect us with His precious blood and keep us always under His care!
2) Pray for our daughter Lily as she enters her teenage years. May the Heavenly Father keep her emotionally stable and help her build a closer relationship with the Lord.
3) Pray for the health and needs of both sides of our family back home. May the Lord provide all they need and keep them in peace.
Ministry
1) Pray for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the children we support. May they grow up in God’s love and protection.
2) Pray for the ministry of our brothers and sisters who are our coworkers. May the Lord protect and strengthen them so they can move forward with renewed strength!
3) Pray for revival and growth in the underground church. May the Lord lead and strengthen them as they face every challenge and pressure.
Namibia (Duke & Sandy)
Family
1) Pray the Lord gives us as a couple His direction and grants us vision to shepherd the church so that all the members continue to grow and deepen in spiritual life.
2) We also ask the Lord to take care of both of our parents, guarding their peace, health, and spiritual well-being, so that we may serve without worry and focus fully on Him.
Ministry
1) Thank God, special Easter meetings we held in April were very successful. It was all by God’s leading and grace, and there were also new friends from different ethnic groups. May they all be blessed with hunger for God’s Word!
Iran (Giles and Joan family)
Family
1) Thank God for the safe return of our younger son. May the Lord give him wisdom in his studies, and may he share the Gospel at school and become a vessel used by the Lord!
2) Pray for our family amidst the war. May the Lord grant us hearts of peace, and may we continue to spread the Gospel and bear witness to those who are still unreached.
Ministry
1) Pray for this land, that the Lord would have mercy and grant peace. May the people turn to Christ and receive His new life!
2) Pray for internet and communication services, that the Lord restores them quickly so that we may stay connected and continue to support one another in prayer.
3) Pray for our daily life, that the Lord will provide for us even during times if shortage; and that the people here will be helped and be able to get through these difficulties in peace.
Thailand (Grace Center — Sister Sasha)
Family
1) Pray for Sister Sasha — ask the Lord to grant her health and strength. May she experience His grace and support as she cares for the children.
2) Pray for her grandson as he enters middle school. Ask the Lord to grant him wisdom as he grows, and in boarding school to help him get along well with everyone and stay safe.
Ministry
1) Pray for the center’s new location. May the Lord bless and provide for every need, and may the ministry develop smoothly and become a place filled with grace.
2) Pray for Soma — ask the Lord to help her form relationships with the children. May she teach with love and build them up!
Syria (Samson and Leah — House of Hope)
Family
1) Pray for our family devotions, that the Lord may truly become our Lord. Ask God to give wisdom so that we obey His leading.
2) Pray for our twin daughters during their exams. May the Lord grant them peace, reduce their stress, and bless them with good academic results.
Ministry
1) Pray for a 13-year-old girl suffering from a kidney infection and viral illness. Ask the Lord to watch over her and heal her — may God bring her complete recovery in body and mind!
2) Pray for the family of a teacher who lost her husband — may the Lord grant them comfort and strength! Also pray for healing for another teacher who is seriously ill — may the Lord be merciful!
3) As final exams approach, may the Lord give teachers wisdom and help them to prepare thoroughly. We also thank God for His work in the students’ lives and pray that the transformation will continue to gain momentum.
Lebanon (Nexus Center)
Personal
1) Pray for Vera. Ask the Lord to help her in her struggles related to her prosthetic limb. May the Lord make a way for her, comfort her, and restore her strength.
2) Pray for Arkan. Ask the Lord to guide his future path and help him find suitable and stable work.
3) Pray for Jacob, that he will hear God’s voice and grow spiritually. May he use his gift in photography to demonstrate Christ’s Life and glorify God.
Ministry
1) Pray for Rahab. Ask the Lord to heal her heart, wounded by bullying. May she gain new strength from the Lord and come to know how valuable she is.
2) Pray for the needs of the church. May the Lord provide and open doors, and may we continue to be a light and a testimony as we live out Christ’s Life in us.
3) Thank God for the education ministry! May the Lord continue to make it grow and be a place of blessing! Also pray the Lord protects all coworkers and grants them strength and wisdom.
Pakistan (Glen & Maya)

1) Pray for our eldest daughter, Tina, who is sick. Ask the Lord to heal her and watch over her. May she recover soon and continually experience the Lord’s grace and presence!
2) Pray for our family devotions and prayers, all conducted in Urdu. Ask the Lord to give us wisdom and ability so that we may use this language to share the Gospel and be a blessing to others!

1) Pray for our workers — may the Lord let them experience His grace. May they grow in their faith and come to know the Lord Jesus more deeply.
2) Pray for the local people here in the midst of rising prices. May the Lord provide everything they need and grant His grace and peace.
