Dear Friends of Nexus,
Ephesians 5:2: “Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
A sacrifice, to be real, must cost, must hurt—it must empty us of self…..

Nexus Mission is 10 Years Old:
The initial calling has transformed our lives; the original vision has constantly expanded.
Why continue: The Vision is worthy of our whole-hearted focus and all our energy!
Our Vision
Linking and strengthening the connection between missionaries, sending churches, and indigenous churches/missions
Objectives
1. Assist missionaries from Asian churches to effectively integrate into the culture and local church/mission organizations.
2. Provide guidance and training to sending and also field churches in regard to prayer, financial support, and emotional care for the missionaries.
3. Bridge the gap between the sending church and the mission field and cultivate an interactive relationship.
A story from Banana City:
At lunch break during a training seminar, a 20-year-old evangelist ate at one sitting nine bowls of rice, nine eggs, and three steamed buns. The other coworkers thought he was acting like a glutton so they asked him to stop and not over eat because there were still coworkers who hadn’t eaten lunch. The young man responded, “I have never in my life had such good food—that’s why I’m eating so much.”
Although the Banana City church is materially poor, they are spiritually rich, full of joy—something that no amount of goods or money can buy! We heard their testimonies and saw the simple faith and trust of the brothers and sisters there. They are our focus and our vision—they are worth continuing to build bridges for, to strengthen these members of the body of Christ, that we may become with them an offering and a sacrifice to God.

Levant—Tree City
As we work hard to sow and build, the enemy continues to steal, kill, and destroy. Both Sri Lanka and Lojin (two of the triplet sisters), though normal while at the Center, became demon possessed when they returned home. Their parents then had them read the Quran, and in order to keep us from visiting them even took them away and hid them. Also, many family members of some of our co-workers have become sick, and some have even been hospitalized, while others have been feeling unusually weak or upset.
Prayer: Ask the Father to destroy the enemy’s schemes, cast out the demons, heal the sick, and turn all these attacks into blessings. May the hearts of our coworkers trust steadfastly in our Rock; may they be strong and courageous!
