• Due to the earthquake in northern Olive City in February, many heartbroken, homeless families have come to cities in the south. May the Lord comfort their hearts and provide their needs!
• After all the air raids and the earthquake, people’s hearts here in Olive City are bound by fear — they think God is wiping them out. May the Lord give peace to the people of Olive City, and may He protect them!
• May God give courage, strength, and the ability to be good listeners to the House of Hope team, so we can share the Good News when we visit people in their homes and during special events.

• Pray for comfort for those who are part of Nexus Center who have lost family members in the Olive City earthquake.
• Pray for one of the main coworkers of Nexus Center whose sister’s house in Olive City was destroyed in the earthquake. Afterwards, first the family was sleeping on the street; later they moved into a relative’s house. May the Lord protect, comfort, and open the way for them to come to Tree City. May they receive the Good News in this time of difficulty!

• I (Bro Tai) went to Lychee City just recently. Since my return, various government departments’ agents have been visiting and questioning me every day, searching through everything in our house, and taking pictures. If my wife or I go anywhere, they watch us. May the Lord protect us and give us faith, courage, wisdom, and strength; and may He let us understand better His leading and His will!

Ministry

• Since the pandemic ended, the number of people attending in-person adult meetings and Sunday school has increased. May God protect our online and also our in-person meetings from persecution and make the hearts of the brothers and sisters strong.
• Pray for the spiritual lives and physical health of our coworkers and their families.

Lychee City:

• The war has been going on for a long time. Arson, killing, and looting are common, and people have no means of livelihood. May God comfort the people in this land, have mercy on them, and protect them!
• Different religious groups fight one another, and government departments put great pressure on believers; but the greater the persecution, the more wonders and miracles God does. May God lead and protect His people!
• Thank God! The children and coworkers of the orphanage felt God’s love and grace as they were worshiping and praising Him with tears and thankfulness.

Banana City:

• Persecution from the government is intense. Eleven houses of brothers and sisters in the mountains were burned down, and they all fled to a different mountain. May God protect them, establish them, comfort their hearts, and provide all their needs.

• I (Winnie) have a number of old-age conditions. May God heal me — not let it get any worse!
• My younger brother has completed his prescribed course of treatment but is still weak. He is doing physiotherapy. May God increase his faith so that he trusts in God.
• ChawChaw’s sister completed her chemo treatments, but the result was not very good. May the Lord heal her!

Ministry: Grace Center

• Now all of Grace Center’s children have returned. May the Lord prepare their hearts so they can study the Bible.
• Among them is an orphan, now graduated from high school, who is studying for entrance to the teacher’s training university. May God open doors and provide tuition fees and related expenses.
• Pray God provides someone to carry on the work of Grace Center. It needs to be someone with a heart for the ministry, someone who is willing to lay down his or her life for the Lord.

• Pray our whole family recovers fully, now that the pandemic is over. Even now we still feel very weak all over and have backache and sometimes cough. May God heal us and give us strength!
• Pray the Lord heal my (Zane’s) mother’s back pain.
• Pray my (Zane’s) third sister stops gambling. May the Lord help her keep far away from evil and draw near to the Lord.

• May the Lord heal those in the fellowship of brothers and sisters with kidney disease, especially one brother who has had a turn for the worse — may God have mercy and heal him!

• We and our younger son have opened a ‘home hotel’ in a Middle Eastern country. Pray God blesses us so that we can stand firm.
• Distribution of food packets and Bibles to families of flood victims is still going on. Pray the project continues to go smoothly, and pray for the coworkers’ safety.
• Pray that families of flood victims who receive food packets will receive the Good News into their hearts as well.

South Asia – Water City

• Pray for our whole family to keep good relationships with God and for us to have a stable family devotional time. Pray God gives us the strength to run quickly as we follow Him.
• Pray for my (Lewis’s) father’s hearing to be restored and healed.
• Pray for favor and wisdom in school for our elder daughter to learn English and the language of Water City. And pray our children grow up healthy and blessed!

Ministry

• Pray for the chef and the barista in the new shop and for all the aspects of running it. May the Lord help us open and run it smoothly and in His timing.
• Pray I and our employees stay healthy and communicate well.
• Pray for our visitation work in the community, for our women’s group, and the children’s study group. Pray God opens the eyes of their hearts so they can receive Christ as Most Precious.

• Pray for the health of my (Jeremy’s) parents in China. My father’s lungs were damaged badly by COVID.
