Levant – Olive City

The Olive City government has collapsed, and a new government is being established. There are too many uncertainties in the current situation. Your prayers are very important and valuable to the local co-workers.

Personal & Family

• Pray that we will draw closer to the Lord, remain passionate, and serve Him with all our strength.
• Pray that we have the strength to overcome any challenges and spiritual battles.
• Pray that God will give our family peace and protection.

Ministry: The House of Hope

• Pray that the children will enjoy practicing their Christmas performance. Pray that we bring the Good News to more families in the community during the Christmas activities.
• Every Sunday, our team spends time reaching out to displaced families fleeing Tree City (all of whom are Olive City natives). May God give us wisdom and guidance to share the love of Christ with them and provide the right help.
• Pray for a sister in our team whose cancer has returned and her tumor has grown again. May God heal her and give her peace and confidence.

Levant – Tree City

Ministry: Nexus Center

• Ministry of Education: Pray for students to experience the love of the Lord while studying. Pray that teachers have the wisdom and strength to lead the Ministry of Education to improve.
• Youth Ministry: Pray that young people, especially many from Muslim backgrounds, will develop a deep personal relationship with God and that God will protect them from spiritual warfare.
• Church: Pray that church members will grow closer to God and become more like Christ every day.
• Pray for our Christmas activities: That we share the Good News with more families in the community; that children enjoy the process of preparing for the performance; and that peace and unity remain within the team as we strive to make this season special.
• Gratitude: Two of our Nexus Center co-workers completed a short visit to South Africa, and one of them just returned to Tree City safely. The brothers and sisters in South Africa responded well to their sharing. During the trip, the two co-workers experienced a lot of God’s grace.

South Asia – Friendship Country and Middle East – Ruby City

Southeast Asia – Coconut City

• My (Winnie) two sons will come to Coconut City in mid-December. Pray for their safe journey.
• My (Winnie) feet have been feeling very uncomfortable recently; pray that God will heal me.
• Pray for ChawChaw’s injured foot to heal as soon as possible.

Ministry: Grace Center

• Pray for the early completion of the cleanup work at the Grace Center after the flood and for the center to resume normal operations.
• The temperature on the mountain is relatively low. May God protect the health of the children.
• ChawChaw is facing some injustice; may God act righteously and bring truth to light.

South Asia – Water City

• Pray for our family to live out the Lord’s love, to build a family altar together, and for me (Lewis) to arrange more family time.
• Pray that God will provide for our family’s needs in all aspects.

Ministry

• Pray for our ministry to women and children in the slums, that the Lord would draw them to have a greater desire to know the Savior.
• Pray for the three study classes and three co-workers we support in the countryside. May God gain more souls there!
• Pray for our weekly online prayer meeting with co-workers. May God be glorified among us!

• Pray for my (Jeremy’s) studies.
• May God give my wife more strength at work.
• Pray for the health and safety of our son and daughter.
• Pray for my mother and sister’s family—may God work in their hearts to believe the Good News soon!

Ministry

• In January 2025, I will lead three people on a short visit to Water City. Pray for our trip to be safe and smooth.
• May God lead me in my preparations to return to (and serve in) Water City.

• Pray for us to apply for the visa smoothly and as soon as possible within December.
• Linda usually takes care of the children at home. May the Lord give her strength.

• Pray for Water City: Since the riots in August and the interim government came to power, the local situation has been very unstable. There are large and small disturbances and demonstrations every day. Pray for the peace of Water City and our safety.

Brother Tai and Sister Ling

• May God keep our three children in my hometown healthy and safe and give them a heart of obedience and love for God.
• Pray for the spiritual life of our family. May God lead me (Brother Tai) to rely on Him to serve, to be wise, and to understand His will.

Ministry: Lychee City

• Local fighting raged. Seventeen people were killed during a meeting of children in a refugee camp. May God comfort their parents’ hearts. I spent three days with them in the refugee camp. May God end the war and give them peace.
• The orphanage is in urgent need of medicine, food, daily necessities, and cold-proof clothing and bedding. May God provide all their needs and strengthen the faith of brothers and sisters.

Ministry: Banana City

• Brothers and sisters in the mountains are in urgent need of winter clothing and bedding, but customs inspections are very strict, and goods cannot be transported in. May God provide funds.

Southeast Asia – Chili City

Zane & Nancy

• Pray for my (Zane’s) knee rheumatism to be healed, pray for Nancy to be healed of breast cancer, and may God give her a strong immune system.
• Pray for the direction of our service, for God’s guidance, and for help in our spiritual growth.

• Pray for our Christmas activities, that God prepares the right people and places.
• The number of brothers and sisters in the kidney disease fellowship group has increased. May God give us pastoral wisdom and the gift of healing.
