Dear Friends of Nexus,

We prepared Christmas activities for the children, and God did miracles in the lives of these little ones!

Levant – House of Hope

At the Christmas party, our students performed a play, sang songs, and received presents.

“Let No One Despise Your Youth.”

After the Christmas party, the children went back to their schools and joyfully told their teachers about what they’d done at the House of Hope. What happened next was something we hadn’t dared to imagine! The teachers asked them to teach the play to their classmates!

Of course, our kids happily taught the play to their classmates. At the end, they performed the play and sang songs to more than 700 people — all the students in the school and their family members.

It’s amazing how God uses little children to spread the Good News.

Levant – Nexus Center

Nexus Center’s Christmas party provided for the students a Christmas meal, presents, and a chance to participate in the performance.

Southeast Asia – Banana City & Lychee City

– The Orphanage, The Refugee Camp, and Mountain Village Families

Many in the orphanage and refugee camps had caught the “COVID”; but at Christmastime, when they received the gifts and pork we sent, they were filled with joy, strengthened, and made whole!

Chili City – You Fu Center

You Fu Center provided kindergarten students with a Christmas party with food and gifts.

The Lord Helped Us!

Nikang, who is 5, has been studying in You Fu Center for two years already. He has ADHD. He would always shake his head back and forth as he sat in his seat. He also had one or two potty accidents every week (and we had to change his pants and clean him up).

Sometimes, his need for our special attention and care affected the other children. Once we even told his parents not to send him to the Center anymore! But his dad still liked us and kept on bringing him to You Fu Center.

In 2022, we started praying more for the children coming to the Center. We are very thankful that now, Nikang has changed dramatically! He has become obedient and is studying with purpose. Now he even knows how to bring a small gift to his teacher (two jujube fruits)!

This Christmas, Nikang was very happy to receive two gifts — a red cap and a yellow monkey toy.
